Aptly named after founders Rose Cazares & Dana  Bilhimer and the industry field of Research & Develop ment, R&D is a YouTube channel that explores the  inner workings of the fashion apparel business from a  behind-the-scenes perspective.  

R&D covers stories you normally wouldn’t hear about.  Each episode features a new industry professional, or  as we like to call them, a true craftsman, and exam ines their role in the fascinating process of making  garments. We strive to be an educational resource for  students, a valuable resource for industry profession als, and an informative, yet entertaining, source for  people outside the industry.

With over 40 years of combined experience, Rose and  Dana come with a passion for sharing who and what  they know. As the push for transparency within fashion  continues, we’re proud to provide an honest, insider’s  look at what really goes into making a garment. Our  hope is that people will think twice about what they  purchase. With each video, we hope to influence a  more mindful and sustainable consumer.
